If you receive product(s) that is either damaged or missing, "Take Immediate Action & Record the Information". If the product(s) arrived via LTL Truck shipment make a note on both copies of the Bill of Lading (BOL) prior to the driver leaving your location. All exceptions should be noted. If you receive product in via UPS advise the UPS driver of the damage, again prior to the driver leaving your location. If filing a claim is needed these notes will make the process much easier and in many cases without it claims may be denied. Helpful Hints: Make notes, take pictures and keep all boxes and packaging material until claim, if filed, is completed.
